Our Story
Cascade Commercial began in 2016 as an investment vehicle for Stephen Sykes’ multifamily projects in Omaha, NE and western Iowa. Inspired by the Pacific Northwest mountain range where Stephen hiked and learned to ski, the name Cascade Commercial reflects the investment philosophy of its owners and brokers; principally, there are real estate opportunities in both the ups and downs of the market cycle.
As Stephen, the managing broker, grew his investments and related property management efforts, Cascade was soon managing over 120 units in Omaha and was developing an extensive list of clients and property owners to help acquire and dispose of properties. After operating as a single broker operation for five years, Cascade hired two agents and an associate broker in late 2020 to continue to scale the growth and provide more brokerage services to our partners and clients. Initially licensed in Nebraska, Cascade added South Dakota to the list of states where it is licensed in 2020.

Cascade Commercial concentrates on the acquisition and disposition of multifamily real estate investments. Cascade Commercial works with both buyers and sellers of multifamily investments.

We are highly collaborative and work closely with our clients to help them make informed real estate decisions based on our market knowledge, experience, and expertise allowing them to achieve the most value on their multifamily investment.
